PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To hold accumulated information, which is monotonously increased by an accumulation counter or the like, while storing it in a non-volatile memory without utilizing any special hard ware and to prevent the information from being considerably disordered even at the time of unexpected power source disconnection. SOLUTION: Concerning this method, the storage area of a non-volatile memory 1 is divided into plural blocks continued in the shape of ring, and the accumulated information of the accumulation counter or the like is stored by a storage control means 2 in the block different every time while adding a check sum. Then, the check sum in each block of the non-volatile memory 1, is checked by an abnormality check means 3 and when any abnormality is detected, it is reported to an information restoration means 4. Then, the accumulated information having the largest value of the stored accumulated information among the blocks of the normal check sums is restored as the correction information of the block where the abnormality is detected. |
