RECOMBINANT OF AVIAN INFECTIOUS HERPESVIRUS, AND RECOMBINANT VACCINE USING THE SAME

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a recombinant useful for vaccine and the like as a vector virus for avian consisting of recombinant avian infectious herpesvirus having an inserted extraneous gene in the genetic region which is an untranslated region of the genome. SOLUTION: This is the recombinant of avian infectious herpesvirus having the extraneous gene such as a gene and the like originating from pathogen of the avian infection inserted in the genetic region which is the untranslated region of the genome, useful for vaccine and the like, high in safety to fowl as the objects of inoculation as the vector virus. This recombinant virus is obtained by inserting at least one extraneous gene originating from pathogen of the avian infection into the untranslated region of the open and leading frame of turkey herpesvirus or Marek's disease virus which correspond to each open and leading frame of human herpes simplex virus.
