PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To adjust a temperature control device for a temperature detecting element without using an oxygen sensor. SOLUTION: An adjusting method is constituted in such a way that, while present electric power supplied to a heater 13 is being monitored by an electric- power display part 18, a temperature setting part 19 is operated so as to adjust the present electric power to target electric power and that a target temperature is set. As a result, irrespective of the characteristic of every heater 13, a temperature control device for an oxygen detecting element can be adjusted simply and properly by using only the relationship between electric power and a temperature under a set condition (a target condition). |
