SINGLE-HEADED PISTON SWASH PLATE TYPE COMPRESSION MACHINE AND METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING SWASH PLATE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To increase the accuracy of the thickness of the swash plate as mush as possible irrespective of a surface treatment applied to the swash plate for the purpose of improving such properties as burning resistance between the swash plate and shoe. SOLUTION: A wash plate type compression machine is formed of a swash plate 23, a single-heated piston disposed at the rear side of the swash plate 23, and a pair of shoes 37 slidably in contact with both surfaces of the outer periphery 92 of the swash plate 23 such that an end portion 36b of the piston 36 is connected thereto. Both surfaces of the outer periphery 92 of the swash plate are provided with a front layer 93 and a first rear layer 94 as a flame sprayed layer of a copper material. As for the rear side of the swash plate only, a second rear layer 95 (solid lubricant layer) where a solid lubricant such as molybdenum disulfide partially exists is coated on a surface of the first rear layer 94. In this case, the film thickness of the second rear layer 95 is controlled in accordance with the outermost surface of the front layer 93 in the manufacturing process of the swash plate.
