<p>The casting installation has facilities for transport of molds to individual workstations. There is always at least one mold (1) assigned to a manipulator (2). The manipulators provided with individual drives and flexibly dispatchable to individual workstations by at least one control system. An independent claim is included for a casting method that involves assignment of one or more molds to a manipulator which can be dispatched to individual workstations. It further involves programming of the control system according to the required work sequence for the mold or molds assigned to a particular manipulator.</p> |
