The collar, for use on pipes of any material, consists of two halves (2,3) with mechanical fixings such as screws (5) with hexagonal heads to adjust its size and lock it in position. One of the halves has a radial projection (8) opposite a point where the main pipe (9) is pierced, forming the body for a cock with a connector (6) for a plastics pipe (10) and an inlet and with a seal (11).
