发明名称 ASSEMBLED LARGE CAPACITY CAPACITOR AND CELL THEREOF
摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To operate a capacitor in safety by providing each cell with a mechanism for detecting the inner pressure thereof and interrupting the current. SOLUTION: A cell having capacity of 500 F or above is provided with a current interrupt mechanism functioning by detecting the inner pressure of the cell and a large capacity is produced by assembling the cells. Means for interrupting current which flows through the cell utilizes the deformation of a metallic deformable plate 2 due to inner pressure rise of the cell. Inner pressure of the cell at the time of interrupt current is preferably set at 5-20 atm and even if it is lower than 5 atm and therefore not abnormal, there is a possibility that the current interrupt mechanism may function and if it is higher than 20 atm, troubles such as the occurrence of the cell being deformed before the current interrupt mechanism functions. The current interrupt mechanism is built in the lower hollow section of the electrode terminal 10 of the cell and comprises a metallic lead fixing plate 1, the deformable plate 2 and a packing 3.
