摘要 <p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve stability of running by dividing a clutch boss into a fixed clutch boss part abutted to a friction plate and a movable clutch boss part meshing with a clutch plate, and fitting a rocker arm to the movable clutch boss part. SOLUTION: A multiple disc clutch 1 is so constructed that a clutch boss 4 is divided into a fixed clutch boss part 4a abutted to a friction plate 6 and a movable clutch boss part 4b meshing with a clutch plate 7, and a rocker arm 4e is fitted to the movable clutch boss part 4b, whereby, when excessive engine brake force immediately after shift-down at the vehicle deceleration time is applied on the multiple disc clutch 1, the movable clutch boss part 4b is rotated by slippage of friction surfaces at both ends, and a pressure plate 8 is pushed apart through the rocker arm 4e to bring about the half-clutch state, so that excessive engine brake force immediately after shift-down will not be transmitted to a rear wheel. Thus, slippage of the rear wheel immediately after shift-down in decelerating a vehicle can be decreased.</p>
