PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a prepreg suitable for use in which magnetic characteristics are utilized and magnetic shielding is intended by a method wherein a glass cloth is impregnated with a paste slurried by kneading a ferrite powder and an epoxy resin in a solvent, which is dried. SOLUTION: A prepreg is obtained by impregnating a glass cloth with a paste in which a ferret powder and an epoxy resin are kneaded in a solvent to be slurried, and drying. Since it is thereby suitable for use in a high frequency area (100 MHz or over, especially a range of 100 MHz to 10 GHz), since the content of the ferrite powder can be increased, the prepreg suitable for a use in which magnetic characteristics are utilized or magnetic shielding is intended can be obtained, and it has a high strength. Further, when a substrate is formed by utilizing such a prepreg, bonding to a copper foil and patterning can be realized without using a nonmagnetic layer and an adhesive, and multilayer formation can be realized. |
