PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To accurately detect a steering angle by letting a fine signal sensor to send an analog signal corresponding to an angle position of a steering column and letting a course signal sensor to detect the adjustment position of a tie rod and to send a digital signal. SOLUTION: A fine signal sensor 11 for detecting an adjustment angleαis arranged in front of a permanent magnet 10 rotating with a steering column 1. The fine signal sensor 11 outputs an analog fine signal to an output side 13. A magnet strip 9 is mounted on a tie rod 2 so as to pass through a course signal sensor 5. The course signal sensor 5 has a magnetic field direction sensitivity so as to send a different digital course signal according to the position of the magnetic strip 9 from a magnetic field (a) to (h). The analog fine signal and the digital signal are mutually connected so that the practical steering angle can be sent in each position of the steering transmission gear.
