The test station has a transport device (12) which delivers test objects (5) on carriers (1) to an adaptor station (10) at which they are tested by a measurement system connected to the adaptor. Each carrier has its own battery powered control computer and a fitting (4) for accepting one or more test objects. The fitting has test object specific contacts which are connected to the control computer's (2) input interface (7). The adaptor station contains a connection to the measurement system matching the control computer's standardized output interface (8).
