摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent deterioration of color purity in a projected picture by setting the focal distances of holography lenses to the distances of positions equivalent to the optical centers of the holography lenses in an individual holography lens array layers and a surface where the picture element of a liquid crystal panel is installed. SOLUTION: The respective focal distances Lr, Lg and Lb are set to the distances between the optical center equivalent positions of the holography lenses 3re', 3ge' and 3be' and the surface of the picture element electrode layer 8. The respective holography lenses 3re', 3ge' and 3be' of the holography lens array devices 3r', 3g' and 3b' diffract an S polarization component in the wavelength bands of R, G and B and they can converge light and form an image in a regular state against the surfaces of the picture element electrodes 8r, 8g and 8b related to the corresponding colors of the picture element electrode layer 8. Radiation conditions by the formed image become similar in all the picture element electrodes. Thus, the electrode is prevented from overlapping the picture element electrode of the other adjacent colors to radiate light.
