<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve durability of a pressure control valve and to prevent a machining head from being damaged. SOLUTION: A pressure control valve 15 is interposed in a gas conduit from an assist gas cylinder 13 to the nozzle 12 of a machining head 11. In an assist gas introducing port on the nozzle 12 side, an injection pressure detector 16 is provided which detects the injection pressure Pj of an assist gas supplied to the nozzle. A pressure control valve 15 is connected to the controller 18 of a laser beam machine. The set pressure Ps of the assist gas is inputted by an input device 24 connected to the controller 18. Judgment is made by a discriminant circuit 25 whether the injection pressure Pj of the assist gas is at the set value Ps by the controller 18, with the discrimination result shown in a display panel 26.</p> |
