PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lubricity improver excellent in compatibility with a lube base oil and to provide a water-base lubricant compsn. excellent in water dispersibility and lubricity. SOLUTION: This lubricant compsn. contains at least one compd. selected from among hydroxyfatty acid esters formed from monohydroxyfatty acid esters, polyisocyanates, and polyols and contg. urethane linkages, hydroxyfatty acid obtd. by hydrolyzing the foregoing esters and contg. urethane linkages, and alkali metal salts and amine salts thereof. |
