PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent mixing of colors between adjacent colored parts of different colors and to prevent irregular coloring in adjacent colored parts of a same color in the production method of a stripe-type color filter substrate by ink jet method. SOLUTION: A light-shielding layer comprising a metal film and a positive photosensitive resin compsn. layer are formed all over a supporting substrate 1. The photosensitive resin compsn. layer is patterned into a lattice and is used as a mask to pattern the light-shielding layer to form a black matrix 32. Further, the photosensitive resin compsn. layer is patterned into stripes to form partition walls 3. The area surrounded by the partition walls 3 is filled with a hardening type color ink of a specified color by ink jet method, and the ink is hardened to form a colored part 4. |
