<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a pen input integrated type display device which has a sufficient number of coordinate detection samples and superior display response. SOLUTION: At the time of display, a voltage corresponding to display data is supplied at the same time from a column electrode driver 5 to column electrodes every time a row electrode driver 4 supplies a sequential display voltage to row electrodes. At the time of coordinate detection, the row electrode driver 4 supplies a sequential detection voltage to row electrodes, block by block, to detect a row block that a detection pen 7 is touching and supplies a detection voltage to the row electrodes constituting the detected row block to detect the row coordinate that the detection pen 7 is touching and further the column electrode driver 5 supplies a sequential detection voltage to column electrodes, block by block, to detect a column block that the detection pen 7 is touching and supplies a detection voltage to the column electrodes constituting the detected column block to detect column coordinate that the detection pen 7 is touching.</p> |
