<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suspend the reception of only lines of subscribers not keeping guarantee bands after statistical consideration in a device connected to an exchange by a high-speed line for housing plural subscriber lines of different line speeds. SOLUTION: A data passing amount per unit time for each subscriber's line is detected in a statistic information management part 1, and each time a subscriber information management part 3 receives information of the data passing amount, a guarantee band of each subscriber's line held in a memory part 2 and the data passing amount are compared. When the data passing amount exceeds the guarantee band, an identification value is lowered and held in the memory part 2 and the reception is stopped when the identification value is lowered to a lowest threshold value. Thereafter, when the data passing amount is within the guarantee band, the identification value is raised and held in the memory part 2 and the reception is not restarted until the identification value becomes higher than the lowest threshold to the subscriber's line whose reception is suspended.</p> |
