PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a magnetic alloy having superior values of residual magnetic flux density (Br) and coercive force (iHc) and also having excellent magnetic properties by means of hot plastic working, such as hot extrusion, with high productivity. SOLUTION: This magnetic alloy has a composition consisting of, by weight, 27.0-29.5% Nd, 0.2-2.0% Ce, <=1.0% of rare earth elements other than Nd and Ce, 0.2-1.0% Ga, 0.82-0.96% B, and the balance ferrous transition metal with impurities and satisfying Nd+Ce<30.0%. |
