<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To detect eccentricity or deformation of a conductor by simple wiring constitution while improving accuracy of detection. SOLUTION: One of first and second edge tools 16a, 16b is given the first polarity of a power supply, the others are given the second polarity of the power supply through a current detector, and whether or not the second edge tool 16b is brought into contact with the conductor of a covered wire 10 is detected by detecting the presence of a current in such a series circuit. A stopper is fixed onto at least one side face of the second edge tool 16b at that time, and excess cutting-in and intrusion by the second edge tool 16b are prevented by abutting the stopper against the outer circumferential surface of the conductor of the covered wire 10.</p> |
