PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To allow power consumption so as not to exceed the specification value by restraining the increase of the power consumption of an image forming device or the whole system. SOLUTION: The output 105A of a selector 105 is fixed at H level at all times when respective optical device (for instance, automatic output paper sorter 102 or automatic document feeder 103) is not attached or is not used. The output 105A of the selector 105 becomes to the L level, since either of mounting signals 102A and 103A is inputted when the monitoring signals 102A and 103A are respectively inputted from the respective optional device to a controller 106, then the selector 10 selectively outputs the input 1 to use either of the optional device. |
