PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To accurately detect an inclination of an object detection means or the mounted state to a body, by detecting at least either the inclination for the road surface of the object detection means or the mounted state to the body. SOLUTION: The output of first and second radar output processing units 40 and 42 is inputted to an ECU(electronic control unit) 44. Also, a wheel speed sensor 46 is arranged near a wheel W to output a signal at each rotation. The output of the wheel speed sensor 46 is also outputted to the ECU 44. The ECU 44 detects an inclination of a laser radar 12 (or a housing 12) or the mounted state to a body, or more concretely an inclination for the X axis of a light axis 18 based on the output of a second radar output processing unit 42 and the wheel speed sensor 46, thus reporting a detection result to a driver via a reporting device 50 consisting of an alarm, an indicator and the like.
