发明名称 MANUFACTURE OF ACTIVE MATERIAL FOR BATTERY
摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a manufacturing method of an active material for battery at low costs and with high performance. SOLUTION: An active material for battery contains, as a raw material compound, an admixture of: a lithium compound; a nickel compound; one or more kind b of transition metal compounds; and an alkaline earth metal compound. The compound is expressed by a chemical formula: Li1- X-a ArNi1- Y-b BYO2 (where A is alkaline earth metal element, B is at least one or more kinds of transition metal elements excepting Ni, 0<X<=0.10; 0<Y<=0.30; -0.10<=a<=0.10; and -0.15<=b<=0.15; X and Y represent total molar numbers of A and B). This manufacturing method of the active material for battery comprises the steps of: supplying and effecting, by using a continuous firing furnace, dry air equal or larger than the quantity which is 10 times as much as one per hour for heating portion volume thereof; and heating and reacting the compound at temperature of 400-900 deg.C.
