PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent accompanied turning of the shaft of a screw terminal, or the like, even when a rotary force is applied in the axial direction to the terminal at the time of tightening a nut, for example, by sealing axial rotation of an electrode terminal while insulating electrically and securing it to a metallic sealing cover thereby constituting an electric double layer capacitor. SOLUTION: Positive and negative electrode current collecting leads 52, 54 which are led out from a laminated element are fixed, respectively with a pair of positive and negative electrodes 70, 70' secured to a metallic sealing cover 65 for sealing the upper part of a metal case 60. The positive and negative electrodes 70, 70' are fixed to the sealing cover 65, while being insulated electrically through an insulator. When the electric insulator is abutted against the outer side of a stopping plate 76 and stopped in place, accompanied turning of a screw can be easily prevented because the plate 76 has a larger diameter than that of the shaft of screw terminals 70a, 70a', and a reverse torque is far lower than the torque for turning the shaft. |
