PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve serviceability and to prevent stains from sticking to a card. SOLUTION: A card holding body 2 consists of a card splicing plate 5 and a cover 6 with a card inserting and returning opening 20 to cover the plate 5. A card inserting part 26 is formed in a part which is in the lower part of the card inserting and returning opening 20 and also between a lower peripheral part 21 and the card splicing plate 5. A holding member 33 with grooves 34 and 35 to hold an IC card 61 at its side is supported in the card inserting part 26 so as to be freely rotatable. Besides, the operating bar 51 of a limit switch 50 for detecting the IC card 61 is on the lower part of the card inserting part 26. An electromagnetic solenoid 58 is operated by the detection of the limit switch 50 and the holding member 33 is rotated so as to permit the IC card 61 to be get spliced to the card splicing plate 5.
