PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming device possessing a means inexpensively and accurately calculating the residual quantity of silicone oil without using a detector so that the oil quantity may be prevented from getting equal to or under the specified one. SOLUTION: The consumed oil quantity (S2) is calculated by using a constant K1 for every size of transfer paper. The consumed oil quantity (S2) is calculated as S2=C1×K1×St assuming that the consumed oil quantity in the case of A6-size plain paper is St. The calculated result is integrated every time copying operation is performed, and a value being the residual quantity of oil Se is calculated by subtracting the cumulative consumed oil quantity S at a certain time from charging oil quantity S1 every time the copying operation is performed and compared with the previously set limit oil quantity S0. At the time when Se<=S0 holds, an oil end signal E1 is transmitted to stop the operation of a machine at that time or when several sheets are copied after that time. |
