PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electric contact for a flexible flat cable that can be connected with large contact pressure and retaining force without damaging the flexible flat cable. SOLUTION: A contact part 10 of an electric contact 1 has two plates 2, 4 having protrusions 14a, 14b, 16a, 16b. The plates 2, 4 are connected to each other by a connecting piece 6, a flat cable is received in between the plates 2,11 and the cable is crimped and retained by crimp pieces 18, 20 which are provided near the protrusions 14a, 14b, 16a, 16b at the side edges of the plate 4. |
