<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an adsorbent for hydrocarbons(HCs) which can adsorb various kinds from lower to higher HCs and which has a large adsorption amt. per unit volume and excellent durability at high temp. SOLUTION: This adsorbent consists of a first zeolite of ZSM-5 having >=500 ratio of SiO2 /Al2 O3 , and a second zeolite of Y-zeolite having >=200 ratio of SiO2 /Al2 O3 . Higher HCs are mainly adsorbed by the second zeolite, while lower HCs are adsorbed mainly by the first zeolite. Thus, various HCs can be adsorbed.</p> |
