PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make the molding pressure to a preform constant all over respective sites of the preform when the irregular diameter shaft-shaped preform is wrapped and improve the chemical properties of the products thus formed. SOLUTION: Both ends of a preform P in the length direction are supported by a preform supporting mechanism 22. The preform P is moved in the shaft direction by a preform transfer mechanism 23 together with the preform supporting mechanism 22. A tape wrapping unit 24 for winding a wrapping tape on the preform during the transfer of the preform P is provided. The preform transfer mechanism 23 is controlled by a control section 25 and the moving speed of the preform P is varied in compliance with the outer diameter of sections of the preform P to be wrapped.
