SITTING SENSOR, SANITARY FLUSHING DEVICE AND TOILET DEVICE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sitting sensor capable of detecting a sitting condition with high reliability in a closet seat device having a sanitary flushing function. SOLUTION: The sitting sensor 7 for detecting sitting onto a closet seat 3 of a user and outputting a specified signal to a control section is installed into a closet seat body 1. A photoelectric type sensor having an infrared LED as a light-emitting device and a semiconductor light position sensor (PSD) as a photo-detector respectively is adopted as the sitting sensor 7. Both the infrared LED and the PSD are mounted at places corresponding to a window section 11 with an aperture plate 9 formed at the central section of a wall surface on the closet seat 3 side of the device body 1 and places at close range from the aperture plate 9. Distances among the infrared LED and the PSD and the aperture plate 9 are set at values incapable of being measured by a trigonometrial system. The infrared irradiation range 13 of the infrared LED is set towards the rear direction of the closet seat 3 in an oblique lower section so as not to collide with the surface of the closet seat 3 and the rear of a toilet cover 5 from the upper section of the closet seat 3 placed on a toilet tank through the window section 11. The infrared light-receiving range 15 of the PSD is also set in a region approximately overlapped to the infrared irradiation range 13.
