PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the cutting resistance and miniaturize the rotary clipper by moderating the restriction of positional relation of torsion by a method wherein an anvil roll is made to cross obliquely a rotary blade, a rotary shaft is also made to cross in the same way, and mutual relational position is made to have a specific relation. SOLUTION: A rotary clipper comprises a rotary blade 4 having a rotary shaft 5 corresponding to the axis of a roll shaped clipper beam 3, and an anvil roll 2 as a blade receiving body capable of being rotated with the axis 6 as its center. The anvil roll 2 is set in a relation of torsion to the rotary blade 4, and mutually relational position is kept in a relation under specific conditions expressed by L-R= [(B-A)<2> +L<2> ]<1/2> -(R<2> -A<2> )<1/2> , in the formula, L indicates a minimum center distance between the rotary shaft and the anvil roll, R indicates a minimum rotary radius of the rotary blade, A indicates an axial shifting distance of the rotary shaft at a specific position arbitrary distance apart in an axial direction from a minimum center position of the rotary shaft and the anvil roll, and B indicates an axial shifting distance of the anvil roll at a required position. |
