PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electronic collision sensor which can prevent erroneous operation even not only in ordinary high-speed oblique collision or pole collision but on severe rough road and enable controlling of operation timing so as to prevent early operation or non-operation against wide collision wave. SOLUTION: A first comparison means 15 judges whether ordinary high-speed oblique collision or pole collision as a starting condition is in starting state or non-starting state, different from low-speed frontal collision as a non-starting condition. Then a second comparison means 37 compares a time integration value of acceleration waveform without peak cut with a specified second reference value so as to judge any change in velocity. Thus, no vibration element due to bottom hitting of a vehicle body on severe rough road generates any change in velocity, so that it can be judged different from collision. |
