PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fixing device capable of obtaining excellent transparency and improving the reproducibility of color by sufficiently melting the entire toner layers of plural colors laminated on recording material. SOLUTION: The surface of a fixing roller 1 is coated with LTV silicone rubber 1b being an elastic body, and the surface of a pressure roller 2 press- contacting with the roller 1 and forming a nip is also coated with the LTV silicone rubber 2b. An. unfixed image is fixed while holding and carrying the recording material by the nip between the rollers 1 and 2. |
