PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inexpensive lightweight globe having an excellent external appearance by sticking a synthetic resin sheet in a revolving shape to the upper end vicinity of the globe surface, and inserting the lower end of the sheet into a recessed groove on a globe. SOLUTION: For example, a globe 1 is made of a acrylic resin, and a sheet 2 is made of a vinyl chloride resin, so that the globe 1 and the sheet 2 can be adhered together without particularly requiring an adhesive by swelling a thermally softened sheet material being the basis of the globe 1 by air pressure or vacuum molding in a state of being held on the inside surface of a molding metal mold. Since the lower end of the sheet 2 enters a recessed groove 3 formed in the globe 1, the lower end of the sheet 2 and a step difference of the globe 1 become inconspicuous so as to improve an external appearance. The sheet 2 may be light untransmissive or light semitransmissive. The recessed groove is not particularly required since the lower end of the sheet 2 and the step difference of the globe 1 are not seen from below. |
