PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a material for improving the recycling stability and stability without reducing the capacity by including a hydrazine derivative in a battery consisting of a positive electrode, a negative electrode, and a nonaqueous electrolyte containing a lithium salt. SOLUTION: A compound represented by the formula R11 R12 N-OR13 is included in a battery. R11 , R12 and R13 represent a group selected from the group consisting of alkyl group, aryl group, hetero cyclic group, acyl group, oxycarbonyl group or sulfonyl group. At least one of R11 and R12 is preferably a group selected from the group consisting of acyl group, oxycarbonyl group and sulfonyl group, and both at least one of R11 and R12 and R13 are further preferably oxycarbonyl group. This compound is inactive under normal charge and discharge voltage environment, and causes a decomposing reaction, only when a high voltage environment is generated by an abnormal operation, to raise the internal pressure of the battery, so that the operation of a current interrupting switch is ensured. |
