PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an air battery excellent in both a light load discharge characteristic and a heavy load discharge characteristic. SOLUTION: In an air battery provided with a battery can 2 having at least one air hole 1X and an air electrode 3, the air hole 1 is covered with a film 10 having an air hole shutter function such that the size of an opening is varied by an air pressure difference caused by oxygen consumption at the air electrode 3. Thereby, both its light load discharge characteristic and heavy load discharge characteristic can be improved. |
