PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a small-sized high gain antenna system. SOLUTION: The antenna system 10 is made up of an antenna main body 13 having a conductor 11 and a feeding electrode 12 connecting with one terminal of the conductor 11, a feeding power supply 14 connecting with the feeding electrode 12, and a mounted printed circuit board 17 provided with a linear conductor pattern formed by printing conductor materials on its front side and with a ground electrode 16 of nearly a rectangle. Then the antenna main body 13 and the power supply 14 are mounted on the board 17, and the feeding electrode 12 of the antenna main body 13 and the power supply 14 are connected via the conductor pattern 15 on the front side of the board 17. In this case, the ground electrode 16 on the front side of the board 17 acts like a ground part in resonance with the antenna main body 13. Furthermore, the ground electrode 16 on the front side of the board 17 acting like a ground in a polarization direction of a radio wave (x direction for a horizontally polarized wave and y direction for a vertically polarized wave) is made longer thanλ/4 (λis a wavelength of the radio signal).
