A fluid analysis apparatus is disclosed for conducting analysis on a fluid using a test strip. The apparatus includes a chamber in which the test strip is brought into contact with the fluid to be tested, the chamber having at least one sealable port for passage of the fluid into and out of the chamber and at least one sealable port for passage of the test strip into and out of the chamber, and driver for moving the test strip into and out of the chamber including a test strip supply reel for accepting a supply roll of test strip and a drivable test strip take up reel for engaging an end of the test strip.
