PLATFORM FOR CONTAINERS AND WHEELED MACHINERY

FIELD: transportation facilities. SUBSTANCE: platform is intended for carrying large cargo containers and wheel-mounted machinery and vehicles of large overall dimensions. Platform has frame which is installed on trucks and is provided with loading deck. Loading deck is located between trucks and it is made up in the form of two longitudinal troughs of rectangular cross-section. Also included in loading deck are sideboards, stops and flooring. Installed on side beams are turnable shields with pivotally mounted plates which are made integral with stops for positioning of containers. Also provided are cylindrical supports for mounting of thrust rings on trough base, and guide member made in the form of bow. Installed on upper end of guide member inserted through slot in shield is vertical limiter for plate. Made in guide member is hole for installation of detent which fixes shield in position. Aforesaid embodiment of platform allows for broadening its functional potentialities. EFFECT: higher efficiency. 5 dwg
