A profiling device (1) for removing excess hardenable filling material from a complex surface, such as the damaged surface of a vehicle body, comprising an elongate body (5) having a core (2) which allows the body to bend, under manual pressure, preferentially in one plane and which retains its arcuate shape once bent manually to that shape, and a parallel blade (9) depending in the bending plane from a longitudinal edge of the elongate body, the width of the blade being less than the width of the body. |
