Process consisting in preparing the hair after its washing with massage and applying conditioning cream to the scalp (skin) and the hair, keeping the hair damp in order next to put in curlers provided with foam rubber glued to the inner part of the body of the curler. The hair which will be rolled up is wrapped in paper before being arranged around the curler. Next, the head is wrapped in a wide cap of plasticized fabric which is fitted round the head by means of padded borders. The periods of contact of the hair with reducing agents during the saturation period is shortened to a maximum of 10 minutes as compared with the 40 minutes of conventional processes. All this renders a process less aggressive and more comfortable for the user. <IMAGE>
