The motor supply circuit enables detection of fault conditions within motor by monitoring voltage across series impedance. The motor operates from continuous current in a constant induction mode, and includes a power supply circuit and an information gathering circuit, collecting information relating to the operation of the motor. The motor (1) receives a supply voltage comprises at least two components (U and u(t)), of which the second (u(t)) is a low energy periodically alternating component. An impedance element (23) is inserted in series with the motor supply. The voltage on this terminals of this impedance element is analyzed by at least one data collection device (25) which also ensure a high pass filtering for which the cut-off frequency is lower than the frequency of the alternating component (u(t)).
