<p>An electric connector (1) having an insulating casing (3) defining a number of seats (6); and a number of electric terminals (7), each of which is housed in a respective seat (6) and has a contact portion (14) cooperating with a complementary contact element (14'), and a connection portion (13) which is connected to a respective electric cable (8) and in turn has knife means (15) defining an opening (17) for crosswise insertion of the cable (8); the casing (3) is defined by a box-shaped main body (20) defining an inner through cavity (21), and by a secondary body (22), which defines the seats (6) for housing the terminals (7), fits into a work position inside the cavity (21) of the main body (20), and, when outside the main body (20), permits transverse fitment of the cable (8) to the connection portions (13) of the respective terminals (7); the casing (3) is molded in one piece, and has a number of breakable connecting blades (42) connecting the secondary body (22) to the main body (20) in an assembly position in which the secondary body (22) projects outwards of the main body (20).</p> |
