Folded carton for packaging of medications

The folded cardboard carton, with a sliding drawer, is formed from a shaped cardboard section. A field (12,13) to form the sliding drawer is attached to one of the cardboard fields (3,4) at a fracture line (11). The line (11) is broken when the cardboard is folded into the carton, or when the carton is opened, to release the sliding drawer within the folded carton. An end side of the base field (12) for the sliding drawer is at an end side of the lower field (3). The side fields (13) are parallel to the leading and trailing fields (2,4) of the folded carton, and are adhesive bonded to a closing flap (14) of the sliding drawer at the end away from the fracture line.
