The invention relates to wear-resistant materials and molded bodies which can be utilized in many fields. Molded bodies made of a hard-metallic, wear-resistant material are known (semifinished products such as prefabricated parts) which are made from a sintered body produced using a powder metallurgical process. To this end, a mixture is produced which is comprised of a hard alloy powder and a bonding agent. Using extrusion molding or metal injection molding methods, the mixture is molded into a green compact of the desired molded body which is subsequently sintered. According to the invention, a pulverized hard material, preferably based on carbide, is admixed as an additional starting product to the metal powder of the hard alloy. This metal powder mixture is mixed with the bonding agent into a paste, said bonding agent preferably being a thermoplastic material with common additives. |
