Fluid control valve used as proportionally variable drain valve in motor vehicle transmission

A valve sleeve is connected to a fixing clamp and has a central bore axially aligned to an armature. The sleeve has a valve seat face joining the sealing face of the solenoid armature valve plate. The armature is movable if the coil is excited to make the sealing face come into sealing engagement with the seating face. The valve sleeve is adjustable relative to the fixing clamp to adjust the distance between the sealing and seating faces and thereby create an adjustment of the magnetic force.
