The parapulpar or endodontic securing components in the form of screws or pins derive their fatigue-proof geometry through the use of the bionic-based CAO (computer-aided optimisation) method. The stress concentrations in prior art shapes leading to material fatigue and breakage hazard are harmonically released. The optimised thread profile (Gp) and the optimised transition profile (Üp) increase the strength and useful life of the securing components by a multiple. The two-part cement discharge groove (112) reduces the processing effort required in the production of the securing component in screw form. |
