<p>The body sides include the seatings for the main bearings of the rotor. The stator is connected with at least one body side by anti-torsion means. Carousel winding reel for thin strip (sheet) of max. gauge thickness 0.5 mm, hot rolled and finished as a continuous strip from rolling train at 20 m/sec comprises a pair of mandrels with respective axes parallel to each other, and associated with structure capable of rotating around a longitudinal axis. The rotatable structure includes front and rear body side, and alternate positions of winding and standby position. The drive means of the mandrels consists of motors which are arranged coaxial with the mandrel and is positioned between the body sides. The motors include a stator and a rotor. The body sides include the seatings for the main bearings of the rotor. The stator is connected with at least one body side by anti-torsion means. Preferred Features: The plane of conjunction divides the seatings of the main bearings into two coinciding halves.</p> |
