Convertible automobile roof stowage box lid linkage

The linkage for the lid (1) of the roof stowage box, in a convertible automobile, is a four-point linkage. It has two longitudinal hinge arms (6,7), and limits (8,9) at the sides of the bodywork and the stowage box lid. The two hinge arms are at the limit (8) at the stowage box lid at one end, and pivot on the limit (9) at the bodywork (4) side at the other end. Each limit has two bearing pedestals for the dedicated mounting of each hinge arm. The two bearing pedestals of each limit are offset against each other in all three dimensions.
