The drive unit (10) for the swivel window (30) or the like is fixed by fastening elements (16,20) so that the position of the drive unit can be changed in a direction which is substantially at right angles to the swivel axis (34) of the window. The drive unit has fastening elements such that rotary movement of the drive unit is possible about a rotary axis (18) which can be parallel to the swivel axis (34) of the window. The fastening elements can be a hinge and elastic spacer.
