The new invention deals with the field of construction of a electric-assisted tricycle. The new invention includes a rockable handlebar (11), an intermediate transition axle system (17) and two rear wheels (16). It features that one of the two mentioned rear wheels (16) is an electric power wheel mounted with an electric power driven hub (161), and the other is a manpower wheel. It features also that it includes an intermediate transistion axle system (17) equipped with a force-measuring device, a speed-measuring device and a microcomputer control unit, automatically controlling the extent of electric assisted power. The new invention has the advantages of high transmission efficiency, light weight and simplicity in construction. It is able to adjust the electric-assisted power automatically, depending on the rider's pedaling force and the speed of the tricycle, achieving the goal of both physical exercising and ensuring the safety. <IMAGE>
